About this policy
This policy covers the First Smile Pediatric Dentistry website, firstsmilede.com. It does not cover the dental care we provide in our offices. Health information we hold as your child's dental provider is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you can request at either office.
Information you give us
When you send an appointment request, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, your child's name and age, your email address and phone number, your preferred location, date and time, and anything you write in the message box.
We use this to contact you and schedule your child's visit. The form is processed by our website host, Netlify, and the request is passed to the scheduling system run by Freedom Dental Health System, which supports our practice. We do not sell this information.
Analytics and session recording
With your permission, we use two tools to understand how the site is used so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics measures visits, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. If you decline cookies, Google Analytics still receives basic, cookieless page-view signals that are not tied to a visitor ID. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Clarity captures how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, which records clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement. Clarity is only loaded after you accept cookies. Text typed into form fields is masked and is not sent to Clarity. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.

The cookies below are only set after you choose Accept. Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage (as fs_cookie_consent) so we don't ask on every visit. We ask again after 12 months.

This website is written for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Details about a child are provided by their parent or guardian when requesting an appointment.
